Description: Older adults in Watertown faced eviction risks and housing instability, often without access to traditional rental assistance. To address this, the city launched a Tenancy Preservation and Community Support Program, hosting workshops on eviction prevention, tenant rights and affordable housing options. Partnerships with legal and housing agencies expanded resources, and 18 older adults received direct financial aid to prevent crises. The program strengthened community ties and empowered older adults to advocate for themselves. One participant shared that the workshops "helped me feel less alone and more prepared."

Description: Older homeowners in Dallas risked losing homes because unclear property titles blocked aid and made aging in place difficult. Beloved responded with education sessions and media outreach that reached hundreds of people, helped 10 individuals complete Transfer on Death Deeds and distributed fireproof document keepers to safeguard vital records. These steps prompted families to address tangled titles and secure property rights. One participant, after three years of struggling to fix her fathers deed, said she was "excited there was a partner willing to help," and now has the resources to achieve resolution.

Description: Innovations in Aging Collaborative focuses on issues affecting the growing older population in the Pikes Peak area. As part of that focus, IIAC hoped to promote healthy recreational activity and reduce high rates of health problems, such as diabetes. Partnering with local organizations, including the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, Bike Colorado Springs and AARP Colorado, IIAC activated areas around the Sand Creek Trail. This included hosting community creek clean-ups, as well as a mural project involving a local artist and students. Since the activation, the City of Colorado Springs has continued to make improvements to the Sand Creek Trail.

Description: A walk audit showed people felt unsafe using Colorado Springs' Sand Creek Trail, because the route was dark and uncared for. This project set out to beautify the trail and make the walking route feel safer. Located in the Southeast neighborhood, the route connects the local YMCA, library, school and important services. Improvements included adding lighting beneath a bridge on the route, as well as adding accessible benches. The organization also planned two community cleanup events, as well as a 5k run and a walking group for older adults. Organizers hope the trail upgrades increase walkability, as well as foster a sense of community pride.
