Action Plan Download
Colorado Springs developed its action plan as part of a coalition that aims to comprehensively address aging issues in the region. The action plan commits to address significant gaps in services in the built environment to serve both younger residents and older adults. Colorado Springs aims to enhance its lush outdoor spaces by redeveloping several parks and adding accessibility and intergenerational design elements. The plan also expands the city's stock of affordable housing, creates better communication and access to town events, and encourages community participation in volunteer work.
