Action Plan Download
Macon Bibb County developed its action plan in collaboration with the AARP Georgia, addressing major discrepancies in transportation, social isolation and improving outdoor spaces. The county action plan commits Macon Bibb to constructing a new senior center, and planning for more older adult and family-type activities in public parks. Macon-Bibb County coordinated with the Macon Transit Authority to identify needed enhancements in public transportation, and provide more transportation options for the community. The plan also commits to enhancing street safety for older adults.
