Action Plan Download
Jefferson County developed its action plan with the understanding that designing an age-friendly community relies on establishing a clear, shared vision, measurable steps and a strong network of collaborators. The initiative focuses on fostering social inclusion through inclusive planning, along with intergenerational programs and spaces; enhancing the exchange of communication and information through consistent messaging to keep all community members engaged; and designing an inclusive built environment around equitable access and a recognition that physical infrastructure and the social environment must work together.
