Description: Deteriorating trail conditions made parts of the museum's public trail system difficult and unsafe for older adults who rely on the paths for low-cost outdoor activity. The Wilhelm Reich Museum replaced bog bridging with wider cedar planks, added a new resting bench, and placed a picnic table along the trails. Clearer signage, trimmed undergrowth and a new gravel pull-off with a kiosk further improved access and navigation. The changes restored confidence for older adults returning to the trails. During a guided walk, one participant said she had avoided the paths for years after getting lost and was relieved to feel comfortable again.
