Action Plan Download
Collier County developed its action plan to collectively improve quality of life and build a healthier age-friendly livable community for residents of all ages. The plan is tied in closely with the county's community health improvement plan, which has a focus on five priority health areas: access to care, mental health, ending chronic disease, alcohol and drug use, and older adult healthcare. The age-friendly initiative builds on these health-based goals, and also prioritizes helping older adults to age in place safely and comfortably, and distributing community resources through an age-friendly lens.
