Description: The Aguila Community Center in rural Aguila is a community hub for residents of all ages, despite its aging infrastructure, leaky roof and signs of wear and tear. To make the facility useable during the monsoon season, leaders at the center fixed the concrete floor with laminate plank flooring and weatherized the roof to make the facility fully functional. Since the improvements, the Aguila Community Center has hosted COVID-19 vaccine clinics, fitness classes, quincenearas and other community celebrations and events during all months of the year.

Description: The city will create a new greenspace in the heart of Clyde's downtown. The gathering place will include seating, an accessible stage and the town's only public restrooms. Other improvements will include new signage and lighting.

Description: This project enhanced an alleyway, previously adorned with several murals, by installing ADA-compliant benches, tables, lighting, planters and a small stage.

Description: The City of Tallulah set out to beautify a walkway in its central business district. The area is home to many community resources, including a grocery store, bank, post office, library, retail stores and public offices. In addition to giving people a pleasant route to walk, the project made crosswalks more visible to drivers, making crossing the street safer.
