Action Plan Download
West Chester heavily relies on community outreach for its action plan. Collaborating with AARP, the action plan expands on health services, civic engagement through promotions, and new learning opportunities for older adults. The West Chester action plan also commits to enhancing the Meals on Wheels program to directly service their aging population, as well as expand their food bank. Additionally, the plan looks to expand an innovative iLearn program, which partners undergraduates with an older adult resident for mentoring and research to both study and better combat ageism in society.
