Action Plan Download
Tucker developed its action plan using its city-wide comprehensive plan as a foundation document, adding an addendum that highlighted findings from its core age-friendly team on each of the eight domains domains of livability. The comprehensive plan lays out the vision for how it wants to see Tucker grow, addressing housing, roads, sidewalks, parks, land development and other community needs. This work has continued to change through the COVID-19 pandemic, as the community attempts to be responsive to changing conditions around isolation and provision of community services.

Housing
Provide additional affordable housing options and new income streams for homeowners by promoting the use of accessory dwelling units - such as in-law suites, backyard bungalows, garage or basement apartments.Transportation
Create a trolley system through residential neighborhoods, making it more convenient for older residents to do daily, household errands.Outdoor Spaces
Build a new, accessible city hall faciility in the downtown area, walkable to restaurants, shopping and residential areas that includes green space for community gatherings and is accessible to users of all ages and abilities.
