Action Plan Download
San Antonio developed its action plan to ensure that San Antonians of all ages have the tools and resources to live their best lives possible. The plan focuses on advocating for affordable housing and mixed-use neighborhoods for older adults; building improvements in crosswalks, walkways, bikeways, and roadways; and increasing access to fruits and vegetables as well as other healthy foods through farmers, mobile, and monthly markets. The plan also recognizes that San Antonio has a large number of residents living in distressed zip codes, thereby focusing implementation in the city council districts with its most vulnerable and underserved residents.
