Redwood City developed its action plan by conducting resident focus groups and evaluating current city policies and programs. The initiative aims to focus on updating resource guides for older adults, addresses the older adult unhoused populations, evaluating community transportation systems and coordinating with neighborhood communities to expand services for aging populations. Redwood City also plans to create a new gathering and activity space for older adults.
