Raymond developed is action plan with the mission of ensuring that older adults are engaged in the community and are able to continue living and aging on their own. The county's older adult population is growing rapidly, which has led to a core set of community goals: elevate the profile, level of leadership and engagement of older adults, facilitate an active and positive lifestyle for all older adults, optimize older adult health and wellness, improve access and utilization of services and supports, and maintain a supportive infrastructure for all ages.

Civic Participation and Employment
Encourage older adult civic engagement by creating a Seniors Advisory Committee and providing advocacy and empowering training for older adults.Respect and Inclusion
Raise awareness of the needs of older adults by partnering with schools, community groups, faith-based organizations, and the local library, including older adults in community and school events, and establishing a list of older adult groups and organizations on the local age-friendly website.Social Participation
Ensure continued stable funding and support for existing municipal programs geared towards older adults, while advocating for new programs to meet the varying recreational needs of the older adult community.
