Princeton developed its action plan as a community-driven, city sponsored initiative with a goal of making Princeton a better place for residents of all ages and a place where they can live healthy, active lives and can thrive in all stages of life. The plan focuses on communication and Information, social participation and respect, and transportation. The initiative is working to make the community more aware of the age-friendly community events, offerings and educational opportunities. With a heavy focus on transportation, the plan looks to expand transportation options and access to information on existing transit opportunities.

Communication and Information
Expand communication options for older adults by offering technology classes, telehealth classes and technology support, while also providing other communications methods like flyers and information in local publications.Respect and Inclusion
Organize block parties and opportunities for pepole of all ages to get to know your neighbors through a 'Community Center Without Walls' that also offers programing and a place to gather.Transportation
Provide additional opportunities for transportation access that links people to transportation options by supporting regional transportation services, connecting to other community transportation options, expanding transit hours and routes, and increasing ride share options.
