Action Plan Download
Greenville developed its action plan with a focus on combating social isolation and increasing social participation. The community has used the action plan to begin hosting social events geared towards older adults, with the goal of eventually creating a permanent community center. Greenville has also focused on health services and community support, specifically prioritizing health fairs that can provide both education and socialization opportunities for older residents. The action plan's focus on transportation is targeted towards increasing community knowledge of Penquis Lynx, the county's non-emergent transportation service, and to increase older adult ridership.
