Action Plan Download
Greenwich developed its action plan in association with its Commission on Aging, largely focusing on also designating Greenwich a dementia-friendly community. The plan utilizes the guidelines and recommendations established by Dementia Friendly America, highlighting that a community that is dementia-friendly is informed, safe and respectful of individuals with the disease, their families and caregivers and provides supportive options that foster quality of life. All action items in the plan were drafted with the concerns and needs of those living with dementia and their loved one in mind.
