The George Washington University Center for Aging, Health and Humanities worked in partnership with the George Washington University Nashman Center for Civic Engagement and Public Service, Age-Friendly DC, Age-Friendly Arlington, Age-Friendly Alexandria, Age-Friendly Hyattsville, and Age-Friendly Montgomery County. Together, they created the the Age-Friendly Social Innovation Challenge, which brought a diverse, intergenerational group together for one day to co-design actionable strategies for building age-friendly infrastructures and establish an age-friendly ecosystem network of multisector partners.
